You can instruct IDEA which JDK version to start up with.Basically, I edited You may find the bundled JDK version a bit better - it's a custom Jet Brains build of 1.8.0_40 that fixes the sub-pixel font rendering in some setups.Old versions of the plugin can be downloaded from Jet Brains's plugin repo; there's a complete change log on the Git Hub project page. You can then swap the plugin in the appropriate place for your OS (~/Library/Application Support/Intelli JIdea14 for OS X, YMMV for other OSs). This is a linux VM I have to VNC into for dev work from my laptop, so IDEA 14.1.2 was installed via the gz archive, so no bundled JDK.For project documentation see our project website This project was rebuilt by merging it's codebase with a fork of The R plugin. This project would not have been possible without great bash plugin which inspired us a lot when getting started with r4intllij, and from which we borrowed also some code.announcements Art Ask Redditaskscienceawwblogbooks Bundesligacreepydataisbeautifulde_IAm ADIYDocumentaries Earth Porneuropeexplainlikeimfivefoodfunny Futurologygadgetsgaming Get Motivatedgifshistory IAm AInternet Is Beautiful Jokes Life Pro Tipslistentothismildlyinterestingmovies Musicnewsnosleepnottheonion Old School Coolpersonalfinancephilosophyphotoshopbattlespicsscience Showerthoughtsspacesportstelevisiontifutodayilearned Two XChromosomes Uplifting Newsvideosworldnews Writing Promptsedit subscriptionsr.hooks.get('reddit').register(function() { var timeout, ad Loaded = false; var age; if (!

Not sure if I'm missing a step here, but neither of the solutions here work for me.
